REPRESENTATIONAL/FIGURATIVE


When I am commissioned to paint a portrait, landscape or flowers in a representational manner, I like to take sketches of the subject from life and then finish the painting in the studio.  Since those subjects are not always available for life sketches, I will work from photographs or one particular photograph at the request of a client.  These paintings typically range in size from 10" x 6" to 6' x 8' or larger.
